Known for its many diagnostic features and a higher level of interactivity with your data in order to provide a better and more personalized service, Windows 10 comes with a plethora of privacy settings to help you decide where you draw the line. DoNotSpy10 collects all these settings, scattered throughout various sections of your OS, and offers you a quick, informed, and straightforward way of making the right decision.
Its simple interface is but a list of all those privacy settings, which you can check or uncheck at any time following to your preferences. They’ve been neatly color-coded according to how sensitive they are in terms of PC performance. Settings in blue are “safe to use”, those in orange require you to read carefully what they do before you disable them, while settings in red are meant for those who know what they’re doing. Those settings that have changed since the last time you used the app will appear in grey.
By clicking on each entry, you’ll be provided with a short description of what that tweak does for your privacy, though the information you get is not always as clear or descriptive as one would expect. Entries are organized by group – Advertising, Apps, Defender, Edge, Privacy, Updates, etc. – which gives you a better idea of the functionality it may have an effect on. Even so, it may be hard to fathom (for the not-so-savvy user) the true consequences of most of these tweaks. You can always take a leap of faith, check them all, and trust DoNotSpy10 to do the right thing for you. more
